GenCare Trustees SA

GenCare Trustees SA is a Swiss company active in trustee services and related fiduciary services.

Its activities are conducted within a framework of rigor, confidentiality and regulatory compliance, in connection with often complex and international wealth situations.

GenCare Trustees SA is a Swiss company whose share capital is entirely held by lawyers. It is independent from any banking, financial or investment institution.

This structural independence is a central feature of its positioning. It enables a genuinely open-architecture approach, guided exclusively by clients’ needs, the coherence of the structures implemented and the long-term objectives pursued.

GenCare Trustees SA is not involved in the distribution, promotion or placement of financial products. Its activities are designed to prioritise suitability, neutrality and bespoke implementation.

GenCare Trustees SA provides trustee services and related fiduciary services requiring a high level of legal, regulatory and operational attention.

Its activities are conducted with particular attention to:

The structuring and administration of complex wealth situations;

Compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks;

Consistency between the arrangements implemented and the relevant wealth, family and governance objectives;

Bespoke implementation tailored to each client’s specific circumstances.

Regulatory Framework

GenCare Trustees SA holds a FINMA authorisation to carry out trustee activities.

It is subject to the ongoing supervision of SO-FIT, including with regard to applicable anti-money laundering requirements.

SO-FIT is a self-regulatory organisation recognised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) for the supervision of financial intermediaries within the meaning of Article 2(3) of the Swiss Federal Act on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing in the Financial Sector (AMLA).

Approach

The activities of GenCare Trustees SA are carried out as an extension of a principal legal & tax practice. They are conducted on an ancillary and closely related basis to that principal activity.

This approach supports:

Continuity between legal analysis, structuring and implementation;

Coherent consideration of civil law, regulatory and wealth planning issues;

A rigorous, independent and distinct organisation of the services provided.
